Karo creates many illustrations that feature a transparent worldview based on white, and the delicate nature of these worlds is one of the attractions of his work.
Many of her works incorporate cute ornaments such as frills and ribbons, and animal motifs such as small birds and cats, and the intricately drawn details seem to convey her strong commitment and deep love for each and every ornament and motif. Even with the same motif, her diverse expressiveness shows different expressions in each work, which never fails to attract many people.

Q: How do you create your own work?
First, I decide on the main subject, and then I flesh it out while staying true to that subject.
Personally, I think the most important step is to look at the illustration objectively after it's finished and make any fine adjustments. I'll check it after a while, or line up other people's illustrations or my own past illustrations next to it, and try to be as careful as possible to avoid a self-indulgent finish.
This is going to take more time than expected, but we will spare no time in this process to ensure that we are satisfied with the finished product.
Q: What is your source of inspiration?
I love cute accessories, so I often get inspiration from the internet or when I visit general stores when I'm out and about.
But the first one is from my own illustrations that I drew in the past. There are some motifs that I love so much that I draw them over and over again, and I have been drawing illustrations of those motifs for the past few years in order to make them look even more attractive.
Q : What do you want to convey through your illustrations?
I aim to create works that clearly express my individuality even within the genre of "cute illustrations," so I would be happy if my attention to detail can be conveyed to those who view them.
