This agreement establishes our creative relationship and a partnership based on mutual respect. By respecting each other's time and expertise and being clear about what one party wants and what the other person needs, you can effectively move toward shared goals. It also sets out the behavior we expect from each other and basic guidelines for honest dealings. By adhering to the following terms, we can maximize our potential to create great results together.
You give me money, I’ll give you creative.
If you pay me, I will create it.
I'll start when the check clears.
We will start work as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Time is money. More time is more money.
The time is money. The longer it takes, the more it will cost.
I’ll listen to you. You listen to me.
We listen to your requests, so please listen to our advice.
You tell me what you want, I’ll tell you what you need.
Please tell me what kind of things you want. I will tell you what you need based on that.
You want me to be on time, I want you to be on time.
We want to proceed on time, so please respond on time.
What you use is yours, what you don’t is mine.
What you use is yours; everything else is our property.
I can’t give you stuff I don’t own.
We cannot provide anything that does not belong to us.
I’ll try not to be an ass, you should do the same.
I will try to be as professional and non-rude as possible, and I ask that you do the same.
If you want something that’s been done before, use that.

For volunteer work:
If you want your way, you have to pay.
If you want us to make what you want, pay us.
If you don’t pay, I have final say.
