Q: “How do you create your work?”
Although I still have a drawing-like aspect to my work, I prioritize the sensuous aspect of my creations. What I want from my drawings is not realism, but the expression that only drawings can provide, so I make it a point to draw as freely as possible. However, if there is a breakdown, it will make the bad parts stand out more than the good parts, so I am careful about the balance there.
Q: “What is your source of inspiration?”
I love games and gadgets, so I'm often influenced by the world view. I also love looking at illustrations, so I buy tons of illustrated books every time I go to Comiket.
Q: “What do you want to convey through your illustrations?”
When I look at a nice picture, I feel happy, like my HP is slowly recovering.
That's why I put so much power into my paintings so that people who look at my paintings can feel the same way!
